Washington singer-songwriter Briana Marela dropped her debut original track in May, and we're kicking ourselves for sleeping on it right into June. 'Surrender' is the first taste of her forthcoming album on trustworthy indie, Jagjaguwar. Recorded with Sigur Rós producer, Alex Somers, 'Surrender' is a delicate electronic paean, which wraps Marela's slight, willowy vocals in a film of skittish snares, chiming synths and kaleidoscopic loops.
